Glass Fusing

Introduction to creating small pieces, learning techniques of fusing and creating colour from a variety of inclusions: metals, oxides etc.  You will go home with a variety of small designs which can then be made into small window hangings/pictures/coaster, or jewellery, and also for greetings cards.

Collage'Tree'  

Creating a collaged tree from handmade and waste papers.  You will go home with at least 1 picture.  This will suit anyone new to craftwork, or anyone wanting to try out a new idea.........

Collage 'Landscape'-

Creating at least one style of Landscape (rural or urban) using handmade and waste papers.  A day/half-day of experimenting ..... You will go home with at least one finished picture.  This will suit anyone new to craftwork, as well as those with more experience who wish to enjoy a day creating an original piece of artwork.

Collage ' Quilt/patchwork'

This will interest those who love the different possibilities of paper, cutting, and arranging patterns inspired by imagined or traditional patchwork designs...... You will go home with one finished piece. No experience of quilting or craft work is needed.

Printing -

Designing a surface/ lino-cutting for printing from. Skills you acquire are: cutting materials suitable to print, use of inks to experiment with colour, to create greeting cards/picture. Suitable for beginners or those with basic knowledge……

Mosaic

Basic introduction to creating a picture or hanging - using wood and waste ceramics.

Clock making - Slate or Wood decoration

Using waste slate, and wood, collage materials and metal novelties to create a Clock for your wall. (clock action provided)

are just ideas and suggestions to get started. But there are many possibilities to having a go at the processes that make your own unique pieces of art and craft to take home. Make Birthday presents, or for Occasions and Gifts.

Make a set of greetings cards, a picture, a dish or a wall hanging. ……..

All Materials are provided, and guidance with any equipment, and processes involved.
